At The One Acre Farms, every project begins with a surveyed, demarcated layout. Each co-farmer gets a clearly marked plot with GPS coordinates, a registered sale deed, and physical boundary markers. Before any co-farmer takes possession, we complete the entire development: perimeter fencing, internal roads, water borewell or canal connection, drip irrigation network, and solar street lighting.
Once you take ownership, our farm management team — on-ground caretakers, agronomists, and field coordinators — handles everything from soil preparation and crop selection to harvest management and yield distribution. You receive an annual farm income statement and real-time WhatsApp updates on your plot. Every gated One Acre Farms community includes: perimeter boundary fencing with controlled entry points, 24/7 on-site security or CCTV monitoring, formed road access within the layout, water connections for drip irrigation and domestic use, dedicated caretaker or farm manager on-site or on-call, agronomist support for crop selection and planning, common gathering areas at select projects, and solar street lighting at most locations. You also get WhatsApp connectivity with your caretaking team for real-time updates on your plot's progress.
No. Karnataka Land Reforms Act Sections 79A and 79B were repealed in 2020. Today any Indian citizen may purchase agricultural land in Karnataka freely. Our Kanakapura corridor projects (Karnataka) and North Bangalore projects are available to all Indian citizens without an agriculturist certificate. Tamil Nadu has also never restricted farmland purchase for non-agriculturists. NRIs must comply with FEMA regulations regardless of state — we recommend consulting a FEMA-compliant chartered accountant before purchasing. Our legal team handles all documentation for both states.
